School Improvement Priorities are agreed together with the Governors - see below for what we are currently working on.
Priority 1: Build and sustain a positive, inclusive, and aspirational culture
All pupils, staff, and families feel valued, connected, and part of a shared vision of excellence.
Key Areas

Behaviour and Attitudes: Consistent, whole-school approach rooted in respect, kindness, responsibility, and pride.
-
Learning Environment: Welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating spaces showcasing diversity and pupil achievement.
-
Play and Lunchtimes: Structured opportunities promoting positive relationships and safe play
Priority 2: Improve quality of teaching and learning
Develop expert teaching across all year groups so all pupils progress in line with top national outcomes.
Key Areas
-
Strengthen subject and pedagogical knowledge
-
Embed evidence-informed strategies (focus: reading & writing)
-
Raise fluency and recall (esp. Y4 Multiplication Check)

Use digital technology to support adaptive teaching
Priority 3: Strengthen reading provision across all year groups
Ensure reading outcomes are strong and in line with (or exceed) other core subjects.
Key Areas

Consistent whole-school reading structure
-
Explicit teaching of fluency and comprehension
-
Targeted support for pupils below age-related expectations
