School Uniform

At Ashbrook Junior School, we take pride in our school community, and wearing our uniform helps children to feel a sense of belonging and pride in being part of Ashbrook.

It is the expectation that all children wear school uniform to school. We are mindful of cost and do not expect school uniform to be any more expensive than ordinary everyday clothing.

School Uniform (all items named, please)

  • Grey, black, or navy trousers or skirt

  • Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan bearing the school logo

  • Plain royal blue cardigan or jumper

  • Plain white shirt, blouse, or polo shirt

  • Polo shirt bearing the school logo

  • Shoes or sandals in a dark colour (preferably black) that are flat, closed-toe, and suitable for active play

PE Kit (all items named, please)

Children should come to school wearing their PE kit on their allocated PE days.

  • White T-shirt and navy or black shorts 

  • Plimsolls for indoor activities

  • Trainers for outdoor activities

  • During cold weather, children may wear a school sweatshirt, tracksuit, or pullover (in school colours only, please)

  • For swimming: a swimsuit (no football or Bermuda shorts) and a towel
